The French Environmental Agency in Martinique and Guadeloupe (ADEME) invites you to the International Sustainable Construction Congress (2019)

The International Sustainable Construction Congress in Angers on September 12th and 13th is an opportunity to meet fellow professionals from all over the world to talk about energy and carbon challenges regarding buildings, especially for hot and tropical climates.

Some of the conferences and testimonies planned in English might interest the Caribbean States, with topics such as resilience against climate change, local authorities and construction sector’s commitment towards the 2° trajectory and carbon neutrality, or even the efficient solutions of today to produce cold.

The full program of the panels can be found here:

Local government and CBOs from the French West Indies will attend the congress, which could lay the foundation to a collaborative work between the Caribbean States on the sustainable building subject.

UNITE Caribbean stands behind this event as it provides an opportunity for Caribbean nationals to receive important insight into climate change issues. It aligns with our commitment to facilitate the exchange and sharing of expertise to foster cooperation among Caribbean territories and the development of the same.
